This was a great choice of a hotel for a first visit The hotel was about 10 minutes from train station and the front door for the first time u need to buzz to let u in as reception in on level 1 the lady there gave me outstanding service so helpful and very polite nothing was to much trouble for her there is small lift The single room was very clean compact but had all I needed for my stay the bathroom was a great size and the shower was the best I have had in a single room in a long time bedding was great very comfortable well located to city center Breakfast was included for me and there was a great choice hot and cold Very good value highly recommend

We were very satisfied with everything, from service to design. Room was modern, interior set up in my fav. colors, combination of black and grey. Equipped with everything needed for the stay. Breakfast was very good, variety of food, being “freshen up” all the time. Coffee was below average though. Very kind personnel at reception, discount for a parking lot. Hotel surroundings were crowded by Arabien ethnicity.

would give a zero if I could. Currently in the reception with nowhere to go, where we've been for well over two and a half hours. Our rooms (which were paid for through Expedia in October, and have twice had written confirmation) have been given to other people. The receptionist says he can do nothing without authorisation from the Manager, who won't answer her phone. He's refused to do anything to assist. He is now going to lock up and leave is in reception with nowhere to sleep. Took 15 hours to get here from Heathrow today, and this is how it's ended up. Worst experience in a hotel EVER. Update: Reception found us rooms in a sister hotel at 12:15am. Only 200 hundred yards away, but surely these had been available since we'd arrived in Munich? Room was ok and were still able to have breakfast, which was fine enough. Manager of the Belle Blue was apologetic and gave us a suite for the rest of our stay, which consisted of two bedrooms (one with ensuite), a shower room and lounge with kitchen area. It was sparse but nice. Breakfast each morning was quite good for continental and the staff were friendly and always cleaning. As people have said before, the area isn't the nicest but it's not a big deal. It's not far to the Underground and bus station, and there is a fabulous microbrewery/restaurant next door. I would consider going again.

A brilliantly situated hotel only a short walk from the main train station. Breakfast was excellent and included in the room price - a wide selection of fruits, yogurt, fresh bread, cheese and cold meats. The only downside was that we asked for a feather-free room in advance due to an allergy and they had to sort it when we arrived. The staff were very helpful in swapping the bedding, however. The rooms are of a high quality and include safe, fridge and brilliant power shower. Spotlessly clean too. Highly recommend.

Travellers arriving by car should note that the garage associated with the hotel is a 7 minute drive away. The garage is poorly lit and lift wells are occupied by some people using drugs. When i mentioned this to the reception staff they explained that the garage is not run by the hotel. The manager came and recomnended that i cancel my reservation if i did not feel safe. They called the booking service and i received a refund.
